Private Lessons
Comprehensive piano and voice instruction tailored to your individual goals. Available in-person in Bellingham, Washington or online worldwide.
Lesson Structure
Private lessons are offered on a weekly or twice-weekly basis. Weekly is sufficient for older students who can dedicate themselves to structured practice time 5-7 days a week. Twice weekly is helpful for younger students, or those looking for extra guidance on how to approach learning a piece.
Lessons are wholistic and cover repertoire, aural skills, theory, and technique. Customized lessons can be discussed to achieve specific goals, such as RCM examinations.
In-Person & Online
Those who live locally may opt to come to Leah’s studio in Bellingham, Washington (September-April) or have her come to you for an additional travel fee.
Online lessons are offered year-round for all ages, via Zoom or FaceTime. The flexibility of online lessons allows students from anywhere in the world to sign up.
Rates
Standard Rate$65/hr
For commitments of three months or longer.
Occasional Rate$75/hr
Travel fees are calculated on a case-by-case basis.
Policy
Students must make a minimum of 3 months commitment to lessons.
Lesson cancellation/rescheduling is accepted at Leah’s discretion on a case-by-case basis, and may result in forfeiting of lesson fees for that lesson.
