Collaboration
Bringing musical visions to life alongside dancers, emerging composers, and large ensembles.

Dance & Movement
In 2022, Leah discovered her knack for translating movement into music. A fluent improviser, Leah plays a variety of genres for ballet, including broadway, new age, popular standards, and the RAD repertoire.
Leah has played at Goh Ballet, Harbour Dance, and Dance Collective, and currently plays classes for Ballet BC and Arts Umbrella.
New Music & Premieres
Leah frequently performs new music and works closely with emerging composers to debut their work. She has recorded a number of premiers both inside and outside UBC (including works by Gabriella Yorke, Albert Wu, and Hope Salmonson).
As a new music advocate, Leah is respected for her open-mindedness and enthusiasm for the vision of each composer she works with, bringing their unique voices to life on stage.
Versatile Instrumentation
Leah started playing piano at age seven and has since studied violin, voice, percussion, and composition. This breadth of experience leads to a uniquely nuanced performance practice.
Whether taking on a challenging percussion gig, accompanying a choir, or providing strings, Leah is highly adaptable and ready to contribute whatever is needed to serve the music.
